Lema

The products of Italian Lema factory, established in 1970 by Meroni family, are characterized by strong handicraft traditions and exceptional product quality. Each product manufactured by the company are marked by extreme care, from the design phase – working closely with their designers – until end of production. This manufacturer approach results in the highest quality range of products. Company philosophy is about comfort, the so-called ‘slow living’ where the key lies in harmonic spaces – rooms for leisure and relaxation are in a mellow tone, while community spaces are tinted by more robust colors. The first load-bearing wall panels or the tailor-made, customized wardrobes are all associated with the Lema name, faithfully reflecting the client-centered attitude of the company.

Poltrona Frau

Established in 1912, Poltrona Frau factory is one of the leading brands of Made in Italy group of companies, whose name was associated with quality and design in the field of seats at the moment of its birth. The name Frau, despite its German sounding, is the family name of the founder, Sardinian Renzo Frau. Legendary Poltrona Frau leather collection includes many iconic pieces like Vanity Fair armchair, first manufactured in 1930. Besides handicraft traditions, special emphasis is placed on research, resulting for example in the exclusive Pelle Frau® leather. During the manufacturing of the latest design furniture beside leather aluminum, various composites, MDF, titanium and carbon fiber also appeared in the selection – but passion for manual processing is still inevitable…

Porada

Everything comes from the adoration of wood. Solid wood worked by the hands of those who know how pieces of art are born out of a simple log. PORADA items are originating from this passion. PORADA was established in 1968 by Luigi Allievi in order to extend the assortment of the company operating from 1948 and had been specialized for the production of chairs. The policy of the company is the professional and quality woodworking which results in the birth of an excellent design piece. In PORADA’s elegant, spectacular pieces find a delicate balance between form and function. Each pieces in PORADA’s wide and varying portfolio are manufactured based on the conception of a prominent representative of contemporary design.

La Palma

The success of Lapalma lies in plain, everyday quality work. The history of the factory is exempt of all kinds of luminous success stories rooted in the past. Production is carried forward by the passion for hard work, for clear lines and perfect functionality. In the past 3 decades the factory has been giving proof of their technical expertise. They are using wood, metal, leather and fabric in a virtuous combination in their lively shaped timeless furniture. This year Lapalma joined the 100% Italian Design movement to make their clients even more aware of the importance of Italian handmade products, the need for quality and the value of market dominancy. The parts in the collection equally fit into the spaces of homes, offices or catering. Due to their straightforward, clear design they form a perfect harmony practically with any style.

Knoll

Knoll is classic in innovation.

Its models are concepts which stand the test of time and they had their place in spaces 75 years ago and have it in contemporary spaces too.

The collection is a ‘warehouse of furniture’ for the public which uncompromisingly reflects the mutual conception of form and functionality. Knoll defines the presence and sense of a real home: the experience of distinctive comfort in clear, transparent spaces.

Besides consumer line, Knoll is one of the major players in modern office interior spaces in the world: they are able to reproduce the calm, balanced atmosphere of a home study in the workspaces, where the individual not only prepares but also enjoy her work.

The factory, established in 1938, now has a recognized leading position in design all over the world.

The motto of the company is ‘good design is good business’. Its classic modernist or extravagant contemporary consumer furniture are constantly present and successful on the market. This also reflected in having more than 40 pieces of their collection as part of the New York design museum collection too.

The cooperation with the acclaimed contemporary architects – Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Eero Saarinen, Harry Bertoia, Warren Platner, Frank Gehry – was an important milestone in the history of the company, whose works resulted in many striking models in the 20th century.

A well-known example: Mies van der Rohe created the Barcelona chair in 1929 which was integral part of German pavilion organized in Barcelona. It is the synthesis of old and new: home comfort function mixed with vibrant novelty. Eight decades later it is one of the most well-known classic design icons.

Knoll’s pioneer role is determining, as it was in the past, it is in the present too. Current portfolio is broadened with new elements in every year, and they are still open for present-day talents like Maya Lin, Ross Lovegrove, Peter Shelton vagy Lee Mindel.

Wittmann Möbelwerkstätten

The Wittmann’s high quality furniture is on sale in more than 50 countries.

Ever since 1896, when the family-owned business – now in its fourth generation – was founded as a saddlery, quality consciousness and craftsmanship have been central to the Wittmann culture. Furniture production started in the 1950s, in cooperation with various well-known architects. Today, Wittmann works with world-famous designers as well as the next generation of Austrian creatives. It is also committed to reinterpreting furniture by famous Austrian architects and designers, whose work has lost none of its relevance today. The Recreation Josef Hoffmann and Re-Edition Friedrich Kiesler programmes are the outcome of this enduring appreciation of Austrian design culture.

Sustainability and durability are central to the company’s philosophy. The decision to continue producing handmade furniture to the very highest standards of craftsmanship at its workshops in Etsdorf is a clear demonstration of Wittmann’s commitment to sustainability and careful use of resources.

Wittmann has also decades of experience in crafting premium quality beds and mattresses and has rewritten the rules on what constitutes a good night´s sleep. Design elements and the precise constellation of the materials used are constantly reappraised, reconsidered and readjusted to reflect changing demands over time.
